BIO
The Days run was founded by James Gardiner (Birmingham, UK) in 2018. Playing all the instruments on the debut EP, Hard Like A Demon to find a new band after moving to London he then recruited bassist, Przemi (Poland) drummer Chandra (India) to complete the line-up. Bringing in Przemi's tight rhythmical style, the band has gone on to record a much more refined sound encompassing elements of classic soul as well as proper old school British indie 'like they used to make it'.
After hitting the London gig scene and making a few trips north of Watford the band are now working as a trio on the third and final video release of a trilogy which started with the 2021 release, I Don't Want to Be the One. This track demonstrated the band's ability to take a reverb-soaked style reminiscent of the Doors whilst also bringing in a grungy element that straddles the more British side of distorted guitar rock. In 2022 the band released Maybe There's a Reason, which brought forward more of an influence from Bill Withers, Marlena Shaw and lead singer/guitarist's central influence, Jimi Hendrix.

In 2024, the band will release It's Not Over Now, which again takes elements of Hendrix's playing whist also bringing in elements of early punk like the Buzzcocks. The release date will be announced soon...
